Good Manners Training
We offer dog training services to all of northern
New Castle County DE and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Those areas include: Wilmington DE, Newark DE, Bear DE, Elkton MD, Kennett
Square PA, Avondale PA, New London PA, West Grove PA, Chadds Ford PA,
Landenberg PA, Unionville PA, Oxford PA.
The Good Manners curriculum - which some people call "obedience training" -
is for people who want to teach their dog household manners and learn more
about canine behavior. Our dog training classes focus on practical behaviors
that will make your dog a well-mannered and enjoyable family companion. We
also teach you about problem management and prevention.
The curriculum includes the following exercises:
- Name Response and Attention
- Sit
- Down
- Come When Called
- Polite Greetings (not jumping up)
- Polite Leash Walking
- Leave It
- Give
- Wait at Doors
- Go to Bed
- Stay
- Tricks!

New Puppy Consults
For first time puppy owners or those who haven't had a puppy for a long time! We
will get you started on the right path and give you the information you need to
prevent bad habits from developing. The following topics are covered in a 90 minute
private in-home session:
