We enjoyed the training at Amazing Canine. Our dog Holly loved Holly, the trainer. There was an opportunity each class to socialize with the other dogs, which helped our dog to be less shy. The classes are friendly and easy to understand, and with the typed instructions we will be able to continue teaching our dog. Thank you for a great experience.

We have 2 beagles with opposite personalities. We found that Holly’s methods were easy to learn and they worked with both our dogs. We got a lot of personal attention. Holly presents the material in a clear and fun manner that helps the dog want to succeed. The handouts she provided at each class make the learning experience very straight forward, and allow you and your dog to learn at your own pace. The material was invaluable during the class, and will be helpful throughout the years with your dog.

I can’t say enough good things about Holly and her training classes! Her positive reinforcement approach makes a lot of sense as opposed to an old school method of using punishment for behavioral training. She also keeps her classes small which provided for plenty of one-on-one time. Holly even volunteered her own time to meet with those students and dogs who had to miss a session. She’s very flexible and obviously cares about what she does and with whom. I also liked the mix and flow of her classes starting with a first session with owners only and no dogs to give us a sense of what to expect and to give us some initial homework. The homework helped to act as reference material and provided people did their homework, made for a more productive class. Playtime at the end of each class also helped socialize the dogs. I would highly recommend Holly to any dog owner looking to train their animal through positive reinforcement; a more desirable and humane canine way to encourage the right kind of behavior.
